- Taynor, I don't know where you are buying your groceries, but NO WAY is the cost as high as the US. Staple items are far cheaper in Germany than over there. Same goes for the health care.

- Calm down guys....this is the same deal in Germany. And yes, they are 'snitch' tickets. I got popped for one - seemed like 10 cameras took my picture - and I had no chance to slow down to stop. It's a weird light, but anyway.
